THanasis Sfikas

Thanasis D. Sfikas s-a născut la Atena în 1963. A predat istoria Europei la Universitatea Central Lancashire din Marea Britanie și istoria Greciei moderne la Universitatea din Ioannina. În prezent, este profesor asociat de istorie la Universitatea Aristotel din Salonic. A publicat cărțile "The British Labour Government and the Greek Civil War, 1945-1949: The Imperialism of Non-Intervention" (Keele: Keele University Press, 1994; ediția în limba greacă, "Οι Άγγλοι Εργατικοί και ο Εμφύλιος Πόλεμος στην Ελλάδα: Ο Ιμπεριαλισμός της Μη Επέμβασης", Atena, Filistor, 1997); "Greece and the Spanish Civil War: Ideology, Economy, Diplomacy" (Atena: Stachi, 2000); "War and Peace in the Strategy of the KKE 1945-1949" (Atena: Filistor, 2001); și a co-editat împreună cu Christofer Williams: "Ethnicity and Nationalism in the CIS and the Baltic States" (Aldershot: Ashgate, 1999) și "Ethnicity and Nationalism in Eastern Europe and the Balkans" (Aldershot: Ashgate, 1999).
