Multifunction Spy Detector for Privacy Protection

The Techstar T15 detector is a portable device designed for checking hotel rooms, offices, homes, cars and other spaces where you want to locate potential surveillance or tracking devices.

The device combines three detection methods: wireless RF signal detection, optical camera lens detection and magnetic field detection. This allows it to be used to check for various types of devices, including hidden cameras, wireless transmitters and GPS/GSM trackers.

• RF Signal Detection: 1MHz - 6.5GHz

RF detection identifies radio signals emitted by various active wireless devices. The detection range is approximately 1MHz - 6.5GHz, making it suitable for detecting signals from:

• Wireless cameras
• Audio transmitters
• Wi-Fi devices
• Bluetooth devices
• GSM/SIM devices
• GPS/GSM trackers transmitting data
• Other devices emitting radio signals within the compatible range

The multi-segment LED indicator displays the relative signal strength. As the detector approaches the source, the indicated level may increase, making it easier to locate.

Important: RF mode detects active radio transmissions and cannot automatically confirm the nature of the device producing the signal.

• 6 Sensitivity Levels

The detector has 6 adjustable sensitivity levels, allowing for a progressive search. You can start with higher sensitivity to locate an area with a signal, then gradually reduce it to pinpoint the source more accurately.

This feature is useful in environments with many legitimate signals from phones, Wi-Fi routers, Bluetooth devices or other electronic equipment.

• Telescopic Antenna for RF Detection

The built-in telescopic antenna can be extended to improve radio signal reception and increase detection effectiveness.

For best results, move the detector slowly around the area being checked while monitoring changes in the signal strength indicator.

• Optical Detection of Hidden Cameras

The Techstar T15 also includes an optical system designed to identify camera lenses. Built-in LEDs illuminate the area being inspected, and the user looks through a red-filtered scanning window.

A camera lens may produce a visible reflection when the detector's light is directed at it correctly.

This feature is especially useful for checking objects such as:

• Smoke detectors
• Clocks
• Lamps
• Power outlets and adapters
• Decorative objects
• Furniture
• USB devices
• Electronic devices
• Other objects that may contain a hidden camera

The advantage of this method is that it can help identify camera lenses even when the camera is not transmitting a wireless signal, since detection is based on optical reflection.

• Magnetic Detection for GPS Trackers

The device also includes a magnetic field detection mode. This feature is especially useful for checking vehicles for objects or trackers equipped with magnets for attachment to the car body.

Areas that can be checked include:

• Under the seats
• Trunk
• Storage compartments
• Wheel arches
• Undercarriage
• Metal body panels
• Other locations where a magnetic device may have been attached

The presence of a magnetic field does not automatically confirm the presence of a GPS tracker, as vehicles and many everyday objects may contain magnets or components that create magnetic fields.

Detection range up to 8 metres

The manufacturer states a maximum detection range of up to 8 metres under favourable conditions.
